CD Cover Design---Voices
Created in 29th Sept, 2006
This is another high school assignment using Illustrator to create.
The man's image was based on a friend of mine, Kui Cheng.
Whom I thought was very charming back then and still very handsome now ...... just older.
The songs in the content page are poems I wrote. Writtern dates are shown as well in the content page.
This was the first thing that came into my mind.
I drew this cat before I started the the cover design.
Some of my classmates said that they like the explosive dots that looks like ink splashes while I favour the pieces that spread out of his lips like he is whispering voices.
Thanks to those unique paint brushes I found in illustrator that created such a beautiful effect.
Note the "Voice" title on the content page has a long ink beside it which makes it turn into "Noice". I found that really interesting as I felt too much voices turn into noises.
This is the first design for the CD cover.
It was very simple and I felt the gray is not vibrant enough.
