Transition images from a butterfly (symbol of rebirth) to a pair of working hands (symbol of growing old) to a child on wheelchair with a bandaged arm (symbol of illness) to a dead dog (symbol of death). It tells a story of a man going through his life without any spiritual involvement. As he grew older his sense of moral decreased little by little and eventually his end is like a dog.

All directions are transitional. There are 10 ways in transition, and unlimited ways in transformation. It means life can be seen in different directions, and not all lives go through the same process. (e.g. Some lives end earlier.)
The Buddhism symbol (wan zi) is in the background as the whole concept originates from Buddhism.
